One of my several consulting projects this semester is Brown and RISD’s very own Rainwater for Humanity. Rainwater for Humanity is a educational non-profit focused on the design and building of rainwater harvesting structures to improve community health and empower women in the Kuttanad region of Kerala, India.

Yacht Club Soda, founded in 1915, is the official Soda of the State of Rhode Island (it’s written into the state legislature). A family-run company for nearly one hundred years, it is an organization with enormous brand and product potential. All of their 33 soda varieties are crafted and bottled on the location of their well using only natural ingredients and sugar. When I was first approached work with Yacht Club Soda they were only seeking my help with the packaging of a few new products. Intrigued by their business and story, I pushed them to rethink their entire visual brand.
